Angel Jahnvi back to home....thanks to social media
WHAT HAPPENED
?????????
On sep.28, around 9 pm a three year
old baby whose name is Jahnvi was on India gate with her family and was playing
with other children, at a little distance from her family members. Around
9.30,her father discovered she was missing and
searched here and there for the Jahnvi which was all in vain. When they
were unable to trace her for next two hours, they called police around 11.30.
CURRENT
STATUS
After a long social campaign and
Delhi police’s efforts Jahnvi has finally been traced in west Delhi’s Janakpuri
on Sunday. From where her parents takes her back to her home. Here the all
credit goes to the social media as it spreads the message like jungle’s fire.
The day Jahnvi got missed, her family undertook a wide social media campaign
via putting her pics on various platforms like twitter, facebook, whatsapp with
the parents contact Numbers.
CONTRIBUTION
OF DELHI POLICE
Delhi police also made lots of
efforts in search of Jahnvi. Before Jahnvi was found, Delhi police commissioner BS Bassi
had announced rs. 50,000 reward for anyone with information about the child. The Delhi police started tracing the
baby as and when it got the news from a student namely DHEERENDRA who saw her at D-
block in Janakpuri .The police suspects that she had been kidnapped either
by an organised syndicate of child traffickers or by a couple who was
childless. The officer said,
“The girl’s head was shaved at least three days before she was abandoned in the
market. When we asked her who shaved her head, she said her “mummy and papa”
shaved her head. We believe the suspects had asked the girl to call them “mummy
and papa”,” the officer added.
BABY’S
CONDITION WHEN SHE WAS FOUND
JANHVI’S head has been shaved with an
attempt to hide her identity. She had a placard around her neck with her name,
her father’s number a missing note written on it .finally her lucky parents met
the baby in Mayapuri police station.
THE REAL LIFE
HEROES OF THE CASE...
First of all Mr. Mahesh Bhupati a
tennis player spreaded the details via rewetting on twitter & call the public to join the campaigns. Secondly, Mr.
Mahesh Murthy offered an insight in empowering the effects of social media. Third
Hero ......is nobody other than our society who put all details about the baby
on facebook pages, groups, whatsapp n other sites .the unity always brings
success and its what happened in case of Jahnvi.
Last but not least, the baby is back
to her family and the lucky parents today consider the social media as bless for them. Finally the story had a happy
ending.
Its the power of unity that brought a
child from the kidnappers trap. Today, the unity has proved its power and same
is our society who has fulfilled its responsibility of care and safety for one
and all. After all...we all are
TO THE SOCIETY,
BY THE
SOCIETY &
FOR THE SOCIETY.
