Why Chinese Stock Market Suffer Biggest One-Day Tumble Since June 2008...............

Image
Chinese stocks plunged Monday after the country's securities regulator rapped three major brokerages for continuing to lend money for stock purchases in violation of rules. As punishment for extending so called ``margin trading'' contracts, the brokerages are forbidden to offer credit to new customers for three months.   China stocks suffered their biggest one-day percentage drop in more than six and a half years, dragged down by record tumbles in financial stocks as authorities battled excessive market speculation.Regulators cracked down on margin trading, which has been blamed for fuelling a wave of speculation over the past three months. Bank stocks were hit after the banking regulator issued draft rules to tighten supervision of entrusted loans, a kind of shadow banking. HOW MUCH DID SHARES FALL?   The banks sub-index plummeted 9.97 per cent and the financial sub-index sank 9.62 per cent. The CSI300 index of the largest listed companies in Shanghai and S

ALWAYS READ THE LABELS ON THE FOODS YOU BUY--NO MATTER WHAT THE FRONT OF THE BOX OR PACKAGE SAYS, TURN IT OVER AND READ THE BACK---CAREFULLY! With all the food and pet products now coming from China, it is best to make sure you read label at the supermarket and especially when buying food products. Many products no longer show where they were made, only give where the distributor is located. The whole world isnconcerned about China-made "black- hearted goods". Can you differentiate which one is madein Taiwan or China ? The world is also concerned about GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) foods; steroid fed animals (ex: 45 days old broiler c hicken). It is important to read the bar code to track its origin. How to read Bar Codes....interesting ! If the first 3 digits of the bar code are 690, 691 or 692, the product is MADE IN CHINA.  471 is Made in Taiwan . BERMUDA TRIANGLE MYSTERY ..............

Image
Computer studies of ocean floors around the world, particularly the area known as The Bermuda Triangle, reveal evidence of massive methane explosions in the past. For years, believers in the paranormal, aliens, and other outlandish theories pointed to the the disappearance of ships and aircraft as an indicator of mysterious forces at work in the “Devil’s triangle.” Scientists have finally pointed the rest of us to a more plausible cause. The presence of methane hydrates indicates enormous eruptions of methane bubbles that would swamp a ship, and projected high into the air- take out flying airplanes, as well. Any ships caught within the methane mega-bubble immediately lose all buoyancy and sink to the bottom of the ocean. If the bubbles are big enough and possess a high enough density they can also knock aircraft out of the sky with little or no warning. Aircraft falling victim to these methane bubbles will lose their engines-perhaps igniting the methane surrounding them-and immed

Helpful tips for I.A.S. Exam...............

How to good Essay in Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC This is what I learned from my seniors and toppers. There are plenty of articles on internet on how to prepare the essay (=read editorials daily etc.) I'm writing one about how to 'actually' write it inside the exam hall. In the Essay paper, they give you 4-5 essays and you've to write only one. Time limit -3 hours, Max-marks=200. In a 2 marker question, UPSC specifically mentions that answer it in 20 words. So with that logic, you're expected to write an essay containing around 2000 words for the 200 marks. Tip #1: Think for 30-45 minutes before you start the Essay writing Take this example. They asked an essay on Gandhi, I start writing it. I write something like Gandhi was born in Porbandar and then He went to England…africa..come back…freedom struggle..Gandhi-Irwin..2nd round table….partition…etc. After 1 hour of writing, I realize that I forgot mention about Champaran's Indigo Struggle whe
