SBI PO Prelim 2015 Exam Result declared....................

State Bank of India conducted an exam for the post of probationary officers on 20,21,27,28th June 2015. Around 20 lakh candidates applied and appeared for the SBI PO 2015 Prelim Exam. The minimum education qualification required to apply was a graduate from a recognized university and the age was 21-30 years.

Only 40-50,000 Students are Selected for SBI PO Main Exam. This year the exam pattern of SBI PO has changed. Now you have the exam have in three stages.
1. SBI PO Prelim Exam(Objective)
2. SBI PO Main Exam(Objective+Descriptive)
3. Personal Interview

SBI PO 2015 Prelim exam consisted of Objective type questions (100 marks). Although the marks of SBI Prelim 2015 Exam will not be added along with the SBI PO Main Exam, it is very important to qualify the Preliminary exam to be eligible for SBI PO 2015 Main Exam. That’s why candidates have been waiting for their SBI PO 2015 Prelim Result very eagerly.

Important dates for SBI PO 2015 ExamSBI PO Prelim Result 2015

The next round after the declaration of results will consist of SBI PO 2015 Main Exam
SBI PO 2015 Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online.

(i) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing &Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 1 hour duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Note:
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test.

SBI will be organizing  SBI PO 2015 Main examination for Prelim Exam qualified candidates on 26th July 2015. Main Exam Result of SBI PO will be announced in the last week of August 2015.

 Most of the students are having difficulties in solving the Calendar problems. The number of days more than the complete number of weeks in a given period, are called odd days. For example : (1) In an ordinary year (of 365 days) there are 52 weeks and one odd day. (2) In a leap year (of 366 days) there are 52 weeks and two odd days. What is the Leap and Ordinary year ? Every year which is exactly divisible by 4 such as 1988, 1992, 1996 et. is called a leap year. Also every 4th century is a leap year. The other centuries, although divisible by 4, are not leap years. Thus, for a century to be a leap year, it should be exactly divisible by 400. For example : (1) 400, 800, 1200, etc are leap years since they are exactly divisible by 400.
