VARUN- 18
Participating Countries- India and FranceIndian Naval Ships Mumbai and Trikand participated in the 16th edition of ‘Exercise Varuna’ with the French Navy in the South Western Indian Ocean on 19th March 2018.The main focus was to exercise a number of evolutions aimed at enhancing interoperability were conducted which included, manoeuvres, cross deck flying and medium range gun firing.
IN-BN CORPAT- 18
Participating Countries- India and BangladeshThis exercise was held from 27th June to 3rd July 2018 concluded at Visakhapatanam. Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of the Naval Staff inaugurated the first edition of Indian Navy - Bangladesh Navy Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) on 27 June 2018, which is being instituted as an annual feature between the navies of both countries.The main event includes cross visits between participating units from both navies, training visit for BN personnel to INS Dega and Ship Handling and Damage Control Simulators.

It is a bilateral exercise conducted between Indian Navy and its Australian counterpart,It was conducted on the east coast of India, began at Visakhapatnam on 12 July 2018. It comprised two RAN ships - HMAS Sirius (fleet tanker), HMAS Arunta (Anzac class frigate) - and one submarine HMAS Sheean (Collins class submarine).The main was to strengthen maritime cooperation between the nations and further the ability to undertake regional joint and combined operations such as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief .
